Travel Notebook: Weekend Getaway to La Paz, Baja California Sur

  • Sketchbook studies. Parents & children belong together. I am a mother and the the mere thought of my kids being taken away makes me feel like I can’t breathe... so I cannot imagine what these kids and parents are going through as it’s really happening to them. It’s simply cruel. While I am glad that Trump finally stepped up and signed an order to stop this sickening treatment of children, I remain outraged that 2000+ kids will remain separated from their parents for more weeks or months until they can be located through the system that wasn’t ready to handle this, and at a huge psychological and financial cost.

  • Good morning Monday! Palm pattern painting with a few more layers. Hoping to do a bit more on it today if time allows. Renovations are ongoing at #thelangleyhouse so my to-do list for that might have to take precedence!
  • Some of you may not know that I had a #frenchbulldog named #henrihopper for 15 years. He was the best dog ever and I miss him still. I don’t know if I’ll ever have another #frenchie, but I probably will never be able to stop painting them 😊.
